What is housing need?

Habitat will only consider applicants living in inadequate housing which is substandard because of one or more of the following reasons:

  1. Overcrowding
  2. Structural deficiencies
  3. Insufficient wiring and/or plumbing
  4. Infestations, mold or pest
  5. Unsafe due to crime, traffic, or other factors

Habitat will consider Section 8 or public housing residents when determining need.
